- Can we pay fees in instalments?
You can pay your fees 4 times each year one at the beginning of each term.
- How do I pay?
Payments can be made by demand draft / cheque (Multi-City Cheques) in the name of “B.E.S. BARNES SCHOOL” payable at Devlali, Nashik.
Payments can also be made through online transaction to State Bank Of India, Devlali .A/C No. 30161930121. IFSC code : SBIN0000360. The payment details, Name of the student and his School Admission No. and reference No. of the payment should be intimated to the school by email : firstname.lastname@example.org
- What about languages?
This is an English Medium School.
Hindi is compulsory in the I.C.S.E examination.
Students study Marathi / Sanskrit from Standard V to Standard VIII .
- About Lodging : Do the boys have vegetarian food?
Yes, we offer vegetarian, non-vegetarian, and Jain food.
- What non-veg items do you give?
Chicken, Fish and Eggs.
- Can the boys have extra milk?
They can have extra milk which is served during morning breakfast.
- Are there separate vegetarian dining areas?
There are separate veg and non-veg cooking and dining areas.
- Do you have weekly boarders?
Yes, we do have arrangements for boarders to go home on weekends.
- When do we register for Std. 11?
The Admission for Std. 11 is open for Science and Commerce streams.
The documents required are :
i)Class 10 Board exam mark sheet.
ii) 2 passport size photos.
iii) Migration Certificate in original.
iv) Character / Bonafide Certificate.
The Std. 11 students need only to attend an interview and no written examination. Admission will be on Merit basis.
For SSC & CBSE candidates the admission will be on Probation till the Eligibility Certificate is received from the CISCE Council.
- How can we register?
All registrations for admission can be done by downloading the form from the website and mailing the same to the school office with a Demand Draft of Rs. 1250/- as registration and prospectus fees.
- From which Std. can boarders be admitted?
Boarders can be admitted from the Prep Std. which is an age group of 4 ½ years and above.
- Do you have bus facilities?
We have pick up and drop facility with a fleet of 6 school-owned buses.
- What co-curricular activities do you have?
We have music, singing, dramatics, debates, quizzes and elocution.
- What sporting activities do you have?
Besides regular games and sports we have fencing, boxing, swimming, cross-country and tennis.
- Where do we get our uniforms and books from?
Uniforms and books can be purchased from school authorized dealers. A dealer list can be obtained from the school office.
- Are there adequate medical facilities?
We have two qualified nurses for the boys and girls and two visiting doctors.
- When can parents visit their children?
Parents can visit their children on weekends, i.e. Saturdays and Sundays between 9:30 – 11: 30 a.m. And 4:30 – 5:30 p.m. If they wish, they may also take their children home after school on Fridays and bring them back on Sunday at 4 p.m. In addition to this boarder parents can avail of guest room facilities from Friday – Sunday ( board & lodging ) at Rs.1000/- per day and Rs.500/- per head extra on a first-cum-first served basis.
