Trinity program

“Education is not the learning of the facts rather it’s the training of the mind to think.” This thought can be very well related to the Trinity Exams and assessments which are designed to help students to think and sharpen their minds and become self-confident. Trinity Exams are internationally recognized and fully accredited by Ofqual (Office of Qualification and Examination Regulations). Barnes School and Junior College opted to merge the Trinity program into their curriculum this year-2020 so that every student experiences the development of English language skills. The categories for the Trinity Exams were….1. YPC (Young Performers Certificate) for Nursery, Preparatory and Grade 1.2. GESE (Graded Exams in Spoken English) for Grade 2, 3 & 4. The Exams for YPC was conducted on the 28th of February 2020. The examiner was Mr. Chris Honer from Trinity College London. The students who registered for YPC were assessed on 3 levels.1. The Nursery (YPC Bronze level) who put up a short performance called “I want to be free” related to the birds.2. The students who registered for GESE were assessed on speaking and listening skills based on the syllabus which included Grammar, Language Functions, Lexis, and Phonology. The Examiner was Mr. Mark Jennings from the Trinity College London. The Students for YPC and GESE were both well prepared and did very well in their examinations. All this was carried out under the efficient and able guidance and persistent support of The Junior School Supervisor. The Hard Work of the Teachers was evident in the Feedback given by the Examiners which was encouraging and enlightening. The participants of the YPC received stars for their wonderful performance.
Last but not least we thank the parents for encouraging their children to participate. It will definitely prove beneficial to the children in the Future.
